Michael holds a BA. First Class Degree (Hons) in Psychology (Queens University, Belfast) and a PhD. from the University of Surrey where he researched new methods of assessing people at work using simulations.
He has significant experience in the private (Banking, Management Consulting, Retail, IT & Digital Communications), public (HMRC, Defence, Education, Justice, Police) and not-for-profit sectors (Careers Guidance).
Michael is an independent product owner and senior user researcher and has helped high-profile organisations develop the concept, the psychological model and the online experience for a range of people-centered systems.
He is qualified in the use of several psychometric instruments and has designed customised assessment centres, simulation exercises, situational judgement tests and 360 competency-based assessment systems.
Michael is registered with the BPS as a Test User; Occupational, Ability, and Personality (formerly Level A & B).
Helen Burnett: Head of Client Management & User Insights Researcher, Taranis Ltd.
Helen holds an upper-class Psychology degree (with Honours) and is a trained User Researcher with ample certifications in her toolkit. She specialises in identifying latent user needs in discovery phase.
Helen is a networker, a collaborator and an enabler. If you are looking to implement or create a new assessment or process in your HR department and need to ensure (and convince stakeholders) this will work across the business, she is your first contact.
